MGRM allow kids both boys and girls from the age of 6 years to train and in some cases as young as 5 years encouraging them to build important tools such as concentration, balance and co-ordination. There training revolves more around the health aspect of the martial art in which the basic core techniques are learned and the remainder is more physical exercise including fitness and pad drills. The drills are more fun and entertaining than serious and exhausting, bringing them back for more and more each week.
Our junior sessions are more an adventure than a training task that include fun activities and the pad training drills. The sessions provide our kids with a great fun workout where they walk away with a good sweat having exerting their energy towards positive goals. Above all learning discipline, focus and teamwork and incorporating essential skills such as timing, distance and quick reflexes.
We teach our juniors to concentrate and focus their energy towards self control, discipline and respect, by providing them the essentials skills to improve their awareness levels. Additionally we feel that these skills are life skills and will help them in their training and everyday life.

We also provide a great awarding system in the form of gradings throughout the year in which each student works towards a goal laid down from the MGRM syllabus. This offers the challenge to progress and develop through the ranks until the top level is reached.
We further encourage team values by holding activities throughout the year that include mini inner-club competitions, birthday parties, Christmas parties and annual trips to fun activities. For further information on these activities contact us.

Child Protection and Student Safety
At MGRM safety is a key priority to the way we deliver the training for both children and adults. For adults we ensure that the correct training equipment and regulations are followed during practice, which also passes through for children.
There are also specific child protection criteria in place ensuring that our children are training and practicing in a safe problem free environment. One of the disciplines we have enforced is allowing no unauthorised spectators to sit in any of our sessions.
Further to this internally we ensure that all of our instructors and assistants are fully police checked and hold the required insurance to provide such services.
We must practice and enforce all of our regulations to ensure that all those that train with us are training and practicing in a safe trouble free environment.
