:: XMAS 2008 SESSION CLOSURE DATES
The sessions will be closed on the follwing dates:
24, 25, 26, 31 December
1, 2 January

All sessions will resume from Thursday 8th January as per normal training session times.

:: WMTO MUAY THAI BOXING SHOW 28/09/2008 @ THE TOWER, BIRMINGHAM
Tickets are now available at £20.00 in advance and more on the day and can be purchased from Meeta.

We've got 2 fighters fighting on the show and there should be a good line up with fighters from Thailand and Portugal.

:: GEARIES SESSION OPEN THROUGHOUT SUMMER 2008
Gearies junior sessions will resume open throughout the summer holidays at the same time on a Thursday at 6.30pm - 7.30pm every week. It is essential for thos grading in september to continue with these sessions, all junior students are invited to attend this session during their summer breaks and for those schools who are closed during term time we strongly request that you attend this session during your summer holidays. The Gearies session can be located in Gants Hill, for location and time.

We have now added a new non-slip second matted area covering approximately 66 ft. sq. to ensure that all students train in a safe environment.

:: WEDS 23/07/2008 SESSION WILL BE AT BARLEY LANE @ 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Wednesday Barley Lane session will be back at Barley Lane at the usual time of 6.30pm - 8.00pm.

:: ITS BACK... 'STUDENT OF THE MONTH'
After a lengthy absence the 'Student of the Month' awards are now back. This will commence from the 03/07/2008 and will be an initiative for the Gearies session. This will of course be held at the end of every month and will be awarded to the student who manages to train hard, display great discipline and demonstrate good coaching skills. Each component will be awarded appropriately and the winner will receive a great looking Thai Boxing Trophy, for more information speak to your club secretary.

As of 27/06/2008 we have introduced an incentive scheme at the Ray Lodge session called 'Star Challenge', which will run regularly for a duration of 4 weeks, with which at the end of each time the student that achieves all the requirements will receive a great looking Thai Boxing Trophy.

:: FTAO Students - COMMUNICATION
All communication with current students will now be done through the club forum, so please ensure that you are registered. The forum is now an important platform for your personal development, as it now includes session information, grading information, reference material amongst other things. Its designed for the students to create a rapport outside of the gym as well as inside and is not strictly for your training reference but a good source for information and social activities.
